e have learned from past experience that there are four primary questions those that access any site want answered. Those questions are as follows and are addressed below for this site too.
- Who are you?
- What is your expertise and how it does it qualify you?
- How do you address a need or goal?
- How can we contact you?
Hi, my name is Joseph J. Lefflbine Sr. and along with my son Joseph J. Lefflbine Jr., created, The International Registry of Baby Boomers. I am a 65 year old proud Baby Boomer born in the USA in March of 1946 as part of a worldwide population explosion period, dubbed the Baby Boom. Like all other Baby Boomers, I've witnessed the same events, such as landing/walking on the moon, Woodstock, 911, assassinations of the Kennedy brothers and / Martin Luther King Jr, just to name a few. So, besides being a Boomer, I am a father of 2 children, brother to 2 brothers and a sister, grandfather to 2 girls/1 boy and have a bunch of what I like to call interesting Baby Boomer friends. All of whom I love dearly. In addition, I have an extensive work history including, but not limited to 28 years in the corporate financial environment, house building, buying/selling of antiques, selling retail clothing, real estate, business/ individual tax preparation and have been involved helping my family run their businesses for many years. Last but not least, I am a Certified (by the state of Florida) General Contractor and owner of a small general contracting business run by my son.
Our goal is to register all those who qualify as Baby Boomers within the USA or certain other countries in an effort to unite and centralize them into one official site. In addition, as part of the registration process, we require the Baby Boomer's name and a description of his/her most rewarding effort. After all, it's about time we are recognized for our individual efforts.
As a side note, you might find this interesting. My daughter was born in 1968 and would qualify as a Baby Boomer in the United Kingdom, France, Netherlands, Ireland and Iceland. My son was born in 1970 and would qualify as a Baby Boomer in the United Kingdom, France, Netherlands and Ireland. So, even though my daughter and son may qualify as a Baby Boomer in certain countries, they do not qualify as one in the USA. I understand that the children of Baby Boomers in the USA are being referred to as Eco Boomers now. If your interested in whether or not you qualify as a Baby Boomer, please access our Home page. There within the Stand Up And Be Counted article, you will see a chart that lists by country, ranges of qualifying birth years.
